Been to Jonas 6 year old birthday and today little Stefàn got his name.

My new project att work

The hospital has bought a new hyperbaric pressure chamber, so called monoplace chamber, where we will give treatment to one patient at time. I am one of 4 in the projectgroup and the pressurechamber is my responsibility. A real exiting project and so much fun to be part of it. 

The Njåstad family is growing

Two cats are moving in with us after at least 7 weeks. The sentimental Doris's heart was about to break when she saw them and knowing they would be put to sleep if they couldn't find a new home. 

They are one week old and just started opening their eyes. Now our cat Pipen will have some company at home, when it pleases him to come home. 

One year as husband and wife

A year filled with love, laughter, joy, tears and memories. Looking forward to many more. 

A hour in the woods

The result 5 L of chanterelles. Some we put in the freezer for another day, the rest we fried on a pan with salt, pepper and cream and put in a toast for dinner. Believe me it was a meal fit for a king. 

Familytime

Last Saturday Elisabeth, Tore, Benedikte and Viviann arrived. On Monday Nils and Marit joined us. We celebrated Marit 70 years birthday. Today the bunch of us are driving up to Norrköping and Thursday and Friday we will spend on Kolmården zoo. Friday we will go to Stockholm, pre-wedding BBQ and on Saturday Anna and Erik will tie the knot. 

The batcave expands

The batcave has expanded to the pool. Arnstein and two of his friends have installed a jet stream in the pool. I swam for 13 minutes, 3 minutes in and my arms were burning and my heart was pounding. I think I have to do a little reserch on this, so much tougher than I expected it to be. 

Vacation

Wonderful 3 1/2 weeks of vacation. The sun is shining, there is a heat wave and we can do what we want to. Yesterday we were out with the boat, we took her home from Öland a real nice trip. We stopped in Sandhamn for some coffee and ice cream, a beautiful marina in Thorhamn.

15 m of marquise is up. 

A honest days work

Today the last part of the marquise was put in it's place. It's almost ready, two poles, the wires and electricity is left. So hopefully by to morrow evening it's ready.

The fishpond is starting to look better. Arnstein and Tove have started fixing it.

Happy 70 year Independence Day

The Icelandic flag was raised in Rödeby this morning. I made pancakes for breakfast and our guest are traveling back home today. Been great weeks with first Maggi and then my parents and Anna Kristin. 

Sweden Rock Festival

Great rock festival is over. We've seen legends like Ozzy Osborne with black sabbath, Alice Cooper, Volbeat and Billy Idol to name a few. 

What a luxury with a caravan and a tent. 

Now more Icelanders have joined us, mum, dad and Anna Kristin came today.
