Road trip

We started our road trip today with destination north Italy.
So far everything is going our way. We only had to wait 5 minutes before boarding the ferry to Germany. We were so hot when we came to Germany, only 28°C so we took a short stop in weißenhausen for a dip in the ocean. We didn't have any euros and almost had to stay there for the night. The parking meter didn't accept our credit cards, Arnstein turned on his charm and a nice lady helped us and payed our parking so we could continue our trip. The new car is built for German autobahn.  Now we're in Kassel somewhere between Rödeby and Italy.

Vacation

It's time for some holiday.
But just wanted to keep you up to date on what has happened with the greenhouse.
More plants and a watering system.
Arnstein and Tore has built a water cleaning system for the pond.

Now we're off to Italy for some lazy days

The electricians were here today. So now there is electricity in the greenhouse.
The roof is filled with glass now
And more windows are in place.

Putting the windows in place.

I'm The roof is missing one window, Arnstein is going to make a frame and make that window openable.

Today we put in three windows in the walls.

We took a small break from the greenhouse

Our small pool was leaking so we replaced it with a jacuzzi. It was a lot of work to cut out the existing one but it will be great.

And the new one is in place

Happy bubbles

Preparing beams for the roof

Today we've prepared beams for the roof.

I've played with concrete and I'm trying to make some pots for the greenhouse.
The pile of cement in the corner will hopefully become a birdbath. There's a leaf of a rhubarb under it.
