Both have good and bad things in our yard.

Found a big dead rat this morning in our yard. Thankfully it was dead and I hope the cat got it, and leaving it behind was to send a message to other rats to keep away.
But I have other good things in our yard. I have planted garlic for next year, I picked 2,8 kg blackberries and put in the freezer and the tomatoes are just perfect.

Politically involved?

As those of you who know me know I am not very political, not at all actually. But then again it's all a definition, if sleeping with a person who's politically involved makes me politically involved, then count me in. I'm going to a political dinner tonight. Arnsteins party is having a kick-off today and the evening ends with a dinner where wifes/husbands/boyfriends/girlfriends are welcome. Hope they just don't talk politics :-)

Harvesting

It's harvest time. I have harvested blackberries (still loads more on the bushes) red currant, rhubarb and now grapes. I can make pies out of the berries and rhubarb but what to do with all the grapes? Make wine? All ideas are appreciated
